The Mommy Talks

Ava is into the Camp Rock movie in a crazy way. She has memorized all of the songs and is a huge Jonas Brothers and Demi Levato fan. I think she wants to be a rockstar. Here is Ava's version of This Is Me:

Ava went to a bowling birthday party over the weekend for her friend from dance class, Ava M.

Today was Ava's first day of school. She did great! Daddy dropped her off and Mommy picked her up. Her only complaint was that the teacher had vacuumed the carpet. She was very excited about the artwork that she'd created and getting to eat her lunch at school out of her super-cool 'Camp Rock' lunchbox.

We took Ava to Chuck E. Cheese on Saturday. She was excited to go, but...as expected...she was a bit nervous. Honestly, she liked her cup of coins more than anything...

Here are some other highlights. She wouldn't get on anything unless someone held her hand the whole time. Oh well, that's my cautious little baby girl.

That's right...somebody took mommy's picture! Oh my! Was it Daddy? No. Did she take the pictures herself? No! Was it Ava?! YES! My girl is quite the little photographer. I must say, she can focus the camera better than her Daddy can. ;)

Nathaniel absolutely adores Nina & Pappy's new kitten, Lucy. He even learned how to say "meow" for her.
